RECREATION
DONNELL DAM & RESERVOIR. Donnell Dam is one of a series of dams storing water on the Stanislaus River. Can be seen from Donnell Vista Point.
DONNELL VISTA POINT. Vista point has a short (1/4 mile) trail leading from parking lot to vista point overlooking the canyon where you can see Donnell Reservoir and, in the distance, the dam. Can also see various moutain peaks, sometimes snow-covered. Rest rooms next to parking lot. No phone.
